Civil Engineering and Environmental Science Senior Projects

All CEE students complete a year-long, industry-sponsored senior design projects.  Students learn to communicate effectively with industry professionals while coordinating real-world engineering projects.

Real-World, Industry-Sponsored Learning

These projects, facilitated through our Project Center, bring together all aspects of the CEE curriculum and provide students the opportunity to address economic factors and operational concerns in a real-world environment.

As of 2022, 20 CEE design team projects have earned the prestigious , which recognizes engineering programs that encourage collaboration between students and professional engineers. Since the inception of these awards in 2009, CEE has 27% of all NCEES awards.
