Important Travel Advisory for ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø Community
Dear ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø Community,
Recent news reports indicate that the Trump Administration may implement a as early as this week, potentially affecting several Muslim-majority countries as well as Venezuela and Haiti. As we prepare for Spring Break at ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø, we want to be sure any student or member of our faculty and staff that could be impacted is aware of relevant guidance and available resources.
At this time, we do not know of any SU students currently abroad or scheduled to travel abroad for spring term who would be affected by the potential ban. However, any members of our community who might be impacted are advised to be prepared and plan accordingly.
Most importantly, we want to reiterate ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø’s commitment to our non-citizen students. You are valued members of our community, and we are here to support you in whatever ways we can. A new page, including resources for students, faculty and staff who are or may be impacted by federal executive actions, is available on SU's website. Please reach out if you need assistance.
Sincerely,
Laura Spitz
