Your Steps to Success

Welcome to a community of learners seeking to advance their knowledge and careers. Use the Graduate Admitted Student Checklist below to begin your graduate study at 魔都资源网.

Accept Your Offer of Admission

Visit the and respond to your offer, and then activate your 魔都资源网 to ensure you receive important information from the University.

  • The new password you created to access will be the same password used to access your 魔都资源网 U email. For a password re-set or assistance with your account, contact 魔都资源网's Help Desk at (206) 296-5571 or helpdesk@seattleu.edu

Your 魔都资源网 U Email

Your email is the primary tool used by the University to officially communicate important information such as registration, deadlines, financial aid, new polices, and general announcements. Check your email frequently as you will receive important information and updates.

  • Familiarize yourself with your account and Quicklinks.
  • Log in using your 魔都资源网 ID and password created when setting up your credentials.
  • Update your address and phone number.
  • Search for classes and more.

Redhawk Service Center

Explore the Redhawk Service Center for information about financial aid, student employment and student billing accounts.

 

Submit your Confirmation Deposit

Submit your deposit to secure your place in your academic program, if required. The deposit will be applied toward your first quarter tuition costs.

  • Once you return the Candidate Reply form noting acceptance of the offer of admission, you will be notified if your program requires a confirmation deposit, including instructions about how to access the deposit form on your page. Please check with your department regarding the due date.

The advising, orientation and registration processes will vary based on your academic program.

New students should complete the following actions prior to registering for courses: 

  • Contact your department and/or advisor for advising and orientation details. Some programs have a required orientation and/or an initial advising appointment before you register.  
  • Once you receive an invitation from , our learning management system, you can access the online new student orientation.
  • Attend the New Graduate Student Welcome and program orientations. Additional information about these events will be sent directly to you. 

Register for courses through my魔都资源网U Student Planning any time after your assigned registration time.

  • After you confirm your acceptance, look for your registration appointment time in Student Planning. If registration for your first quarter has begun, up to two business days may be required for you to receive your registration time.
  • Some circumstances warrant a registration hold that is also accessible through Student Planning so you may act accordingly.

Get Carded

Watch for an email with photo guidelines and instructions on how to upload your campus I.D. photo. You can then pick up your card from Reprographic Services during operating hours if you are on campus. 

 

Finalize tuition payment arrangements. All eligible admitted students are encouraged to complete the and search for external funding.

Purchase or rent course materials at 魔都资源网 U’s Campus Store online or in-person at 12th & Madison adjacent to the VI Hilbert Building.

Reference your admission letter for any provisional documents and arrange to have them sent to 魔都资源网 Graduate Admissions within your first term of enrollment.

  • Registration for future quarters is contingent upon meeting the conditions of your admission.
  • Current 魔都资源网 students should contact Graduate Admissions when final degree posted transcripts are ready.

For International Students

If you are an international student, please follow the additional steps below to complete your enrollment.

  • You will need to provide a copy of your admission letter for your visa interview if seeking a student visa. You can print a pdf copy from your admission status page under Status Update.
  • Contact the English Language Learning Center if you have been admitted through the English Language Cultural Bridge program or if you need support on specific English skill development.
  • Explore on-campus and off-campus housing options and tools, determine whether you need to purchase student health insurance and check-in with the International Student Center.
  • New students attending on an F-1 visa must check-in with the International Student Center. A new student workshop will be held just prior to the start of the quarter.
