Biography
Claire is an actor, musician, and teaching artist whose work bridges professional performance and student-centered pedagogy. She has performed both onstage and in the orchestra pit at regional theatres across the country, including The 5th Avenue Theatre, ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø Children’s Theatre, Village Theatre, the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, the Lesher Center for the Arts, and Taproot Theatre Company, appearing in productions such as Always… Patsy Cline, Hairspray, Cinderella, Goodnight Moon, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Claire is also an accomplished voiceover artist, contributing to projects for Microsoft, emerging app prototypes, and commercial work for radio and internet platforms.
As an educator, Claire specializes in developing vocal balance through evidence-based vocal pedagogy. Her teaching emphasizes healthy, sustainable technique paired with practical performance application across various theatrical styles and professional settings. She has served as a guest teaching artist with The Overlake School, Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE program, ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø Public Schools, and currently directs the extracurricular piano program at The Evergreen School. A passionate voice teacher, she has spent the past five years building a robust private studio that integrates research-backed technique and real-world industry insight. She is deeply committed to mentoring artists who are technically grounded, expressive, and adaptable collaborators.
