Biography
Dr. Amin Riazi joined ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø in 2023 as a faculty member in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Civil Engineering, as well as a second master’s degree in Data Analytics. His academic and professional experience spans three continents and more than seven countries, informing a global perspective on engineering research and education.
Dr. Riazi’s work lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and engineering. His research focuses on applying AI, machine learning, and deep learning methods to complex problems in coastal engineering, hydraulics, and environmental systems. He is particularly interested in developing data-driven and hybrid modeling approaches to better understand and predict physical processes in water-related environments.
